Janhost is looking for a detail-oriented Website Maintenance Technician to help keep our clients' websites secure, updated, and running smoothly. You'll work behind the scenes to ensure reliability and proactively address issues before they become problems.
What you'll be responsible for
- Perform routine updates for WordPress core, plugins, and themes
- Monitor website uptime and performance metrics
- Execute scheduled backups and verify backup integrity
- Apply security patches and maintain SSL certificates
- Document maintenance activities and report issues promptly
What we're looking for
- Experience managing multiple WordPress websites
- Understanding of web hosting environments and server basics
- Familiarity with security best practices for websites
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
